Principal's Message

Mr. Brown, Principal, College Park MS

Weekly Report 4/4/2021

Greetings Bulldog Families,

This is Mr. Brown, proud principal of College Park Middle School with your Weekly Sunday Report.

This week, students will start FSA testing with the first test taking place on Thursday, April 8, 2021. It is extremely important students are present on the days FSA or EOC tests are administered. Parents are allowed to pick up [email protected] students after they have completed their FSA or EOC. Please ensure your student gets a full nights rest the night before testing and if possible breakfast in the morning. Students will also have regular breakfast provided here on campus.

Last week, several parents received phone calls for students who are failing a core class or those that were close to failing with a D. Please check Skyward, follow up with counselors or teachers to assist your child in passing for the school year. Summer school will have full day course recovery during the month of June and July but there is still time for students to bring up their yearly averages and avoid summer school.

Our PTSA and SAC met last Thursday, at the end of this school year we will bid farewell to several members of the team as their children transition to the 9th grade. Parents who engage in this process not only have a voice in the decision making process but they are crucial voices to help steer our school. I am inviting all interested 6th and 7th grade parents who would like to participate in SAC or PTSA during the upcoming school year to contact Nikki Covington at [email protected]

We wish you all a great weekend and remember, at College Park Middle School you are loved and there is nothing you can do about it.

Sanjay Brown
