Principal's Message

Mr. Brown, Principal, College Park MS

Dear Bulldog Families, Friends and Partners,

We hope you enjoyed your long weekend with NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 18th in observance of Presidents’ Day. This week we will be celebrating “Random Acts of Kindness Week!” Please talk to your students about ways to show kindness to friends, family, teachers, and people in your community. One way to show kindness to your fellow Bulldogs and community in need is to attend our SOUPer Bowl of Caring on Thursday, February 21st at 6:30 p.m. following the SAC/PTSA Meeting at 5:30 p.m. We invite all of you to come out, bring your generous heart, your cash donations and/or canned food, and support this fun family event. We are still in need of volunteers to donate homemade soup and paper products to make this event a success. Sign up and RSVP HERE!

We thank all who made donations to our fundraisers! We appreciate your support of CPMS! Every penny gets us closer to seeing Principal Brown duct-taped to a wall… so please help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000 this year! There are 3 ways you can contribute: 1) Sell Greenback Cards 2) Go to schoolpay.com  3) Make a tax deductible donation to the FOCPS Bulldog Fund. (Please be sure to choose College Park Middle School in the drop-down menu.) We really need your support in our fundraising efforts to allow for student incentives, technology, support for families in need,  and much more!

Thank you to all of the parents who completed the AdvancED survey. Remember, ALL parents of a student may fill out the survey, not just one! If any parents or guardians of a student have not had a chance to do so yet, please click HERE, or go to ocps.net and click on the link on the right hand side of the page.Your input is very important as we strive to provide excellent service to all of our stakeholders.

Please come out and support our Bulldog Basketball teams on Wednesday, February 20th at 4:30 p.m. away versus Audubon Park. If you want to try out for our Track and Field Team on March 6th-8th, remember you must have an OCPS Physical on file. Go Bulldogs!

Progress Reports will now be going home on Tuesday, February 19th per a district-wide change in date. Please be sure to check Progress Book to monitor your student's progress, and do not hesitate to reach out if we can provide any assistance. We strive for excellence for all, whatever it takes… and remember, at College Park Middle School, your child is loved, and there is nothing they can do about it!

Sincerely,

Sanjay Brown
